I was invited to moderate this panel for the Asian American Writers’ Workshop at the last minute (a couple days’ notice). If it had been anyone else asking me, I would have said no. What with the vagaries of pain and brain fog, I was profoundly nervous about doing this, but it felt like an opportunity that was too cool to pass up. In retrospect, I wish I’d disclosed my reason for my nerves.
